Anthony Brown Out For Remainder of Season

Erie, PA (March 23) – Erie BayHawks forward Anthony Brown will miss the remainder of the season due to an ankle injury. Brown has not appeared in a game for the BayHawks since March 10 against the Grand Rapids Drive.

Brown was selected by the BayHawks with the first overall pick of the 2016 NBA D-League Draft. He appeared in 24 games (all starts) with Erie, averaging 20.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.0 steal in 37.8 minutes per contest. Brown received two Gatorade Call-Ups this season. He signed a 10-day contract with the New Orleans Pelicans (Nov. 21-Dec. 9) and with the Orlando Magic (Jan.22-Feb.2).

The BayHawks will play three of their next five games at home, starting with back-to-back contests against the Raptors 905 this weekend.
