Atlanta Hawks Transfer Josh Magette to BayHawks

ATLANTA HAWKS TRANSFER JOSH MAGETTE TO ERIE BAYHAWKS

 

ERIE, PA – The Erie BayHawks, NBA G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club, announced today that Atlanta Hawks guard Josh Magette has been transferred to the Erie BayHawks. Magette will meet the team in Mississauga for their exhibition match against the Raptors 905 tonight.

Magette (6’1, 160), is on a Two-Way Contract with the Hawks and appeared in five regular season games. He was the first Two-Way player in history to score in the NBA, when he buried a three-pointer at the 1:55 mark of the second quarter in Atlanta’s season opener against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, October 18th.

The BayHawks’ home opener will be Friday, November 10th at 7:00 PM against the Maine Red Claws. BayHawks t-shirts will be given away to the first 1,000 fans, courtesy of Rebich Investments, and the K-9 Crew Frisbee Dogs will perform at halftime. It is also the first Erie Federal Credit Union BOGO Night of the season.
