ERIE, PA – The Erie BayHawks, NBA G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club, announced today that Atlanta Hawks guard Josh Magette has been transferred to the Erie BayHawks. Magette will be active for tonight’s game against the Grand Rapids Drive.

Magette (6’1, 160) is on a Two-Way Contract with the Atlanta Hawks. He’s appeared in eight regular season games for Atlanta, averaging 1.6 points and 2.1 assists in 8.0 minutes of action. Magette dished out a league-high tying 17 assists against the Greensboro Swarm on Tuesday, November 14th and has notched five points-to-assists double-doubles this season.

The BayHawks open up the month of December with back-to-back home games this weekend. Erie will face off against the Grand Rapids Drive tonight and the Reno Bighorns tomorrow, with tipoff slated for 7:00 p.m. for both nights. The BayHawks will play seven of their 10 December games at Erie Insurance Arena, a season-high for most home games in a single month.
