BayHawks Announce 2018-19 Single-Game Tickets

BayHawks home opener set for Friday, November 2 at 7:00 p.m. against Grand Rapids Drive

ERIE, PA – The Erie BayHawks, NBA G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club, announced today single-game tickets for the 2018-19 regular season will go on sale Saturday, October 13 at 10 a.m. Single-game ticket prices remain the same as last season, with Main Level tickets starting at just $10.00. Tickets can be purchased online at eriebayhawks.com or at the Erie Insurance Arena box office.

The reigning Southeast Division Champions will open the 2018-19 regular season by hosting back-to-back contests, beginning on November 2 against the Grand Rapids Drive. The BayHawks will then face the Lakeland Magic the following night. Both contests are slated to tip at 7:00 p.m.

Erie will tipoff its 11th season in the NBA G League, and second as affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club, by giving away 2018-19 poster schedules on both nights of opening weekend, courtesy of Erie Times-News. On Saturday, BayHawks fans will have the opportunity to catch Tyler’s Amazing Balancing Act perform at halftime. Tyler has performed on America’s Got Talent, Ripley’s Believe it or Not, Regis and Kelly, ESPN, and halftime shows across the country. Additionally, Saturday will be the first of three full-team postgame autograph sessions of the season.

Notable dates and promotions this season include:

  • Friday, November 2: Home Opener
  • Sunday, January 27: Salute Our Troops (3:00 p.m.)
  • Tuesday, February 5: School Kids Jam (11:00 a.m.)
  • Saturday, February 23: Celebrate Your Faith
  • Saturday, March 23: Final game of the regular season

A full schedule of promotions will be announced at a later date.

The BayHawks will play host to each of their three Southeast Division opponents twice throughout the 2018-19 campaign. The newest member of the NBA G League and Southeast Division, the Capital City Go-Go, NBA G League affiliate of the Washington Wizards, will make their inaugural visit to Erie on Saturday, February 23.

The non-conference home schedule is highlighted by the Austin Spurs, reigning NBA G League Champions, making a trip to Erie Insurance Arena on Tuesday, March 5. The Spurs are coached by former BayHawks guard Blake Ahearn.

Erie will host a total of 16 home weekend contests and eight weekday contests this season. Of the 16 home weekend matches, seven games will be played on a Friday, seven on a Saturday and two contests on a Sunday.
