BayHawks acquire returning player rights to Roscoe Smith


ERIE, PA – The Erie BayHawks, NBA G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club, announced today the acquisition of the returning player rights to Roscoe Smith in exchange for the returning player rights to Luke Harangody

Smith (6’8, 205), spent last season with the Delaware 87ers and South Bay Lakers. Smith appeared in 18 games for the Lakers, averaging 10.2 points and 3.8 rebounds in 19.2 minutes of play. He was traded to Delaware on January 15, 2017. Smith appeared in 24 games (13 starts) with the 87ers, registering 10.4 points on .545 shooting from the field and 5.9 rebounds in 22.7 minutes of action.

The BayHawks open the regular season tonight on the road as they face the Grand Rapids Drive. Tipoff is slated for 7 PM.  The team will travel to Portland, Maine for a Sunday matinee match against the Maine Red Claws, before the home opener on Friday, November 10th.
