BayHawks Kick Off Season of Giving

Fans will receive a free ticket when donating to one of three local charities

ERIE, PA – The Erie BayHawks, NBA G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club, announced today the beginning of its annual Season of Giving, in partnership with LECOM Health, that supports Coats for Kids, the Second Harvest Food Bank and Toys for Tots.

For the next three home games (November 17, 18 and 21), fans can donate a new or gently used coat for Coats for Kids, non-perishable food items to be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank, or a new unwrapped toy, to be donated to Toys for Tots, and receive a free Main Level ticket to one of the next three games, courtesy of LECOM Health.  All donations must be made either in advance at the BayHawks office or the night of the game at Erie Insurance Arena.

“The BayHawks are happy to host this annual event and support these three local charities,” said BayHawks president, Matt Bresee. “It means a lot to our organization that we, and our fans, are able to give back to our community, especially in this time of need around the holidays.”

The BayHawks are back in action tonight, as they take on the Greensboro Swarm. Tipoff is slated for 7:00 p.m. Erie hosts back-to-back home games this weekend, first facing Delaware on Friday and Greensboro on Saturday.
