BayHawks Add Roscoe Smith to Active Roster, Waive Chris Braswell

ERIE, PA – The Erie BayHawks, NBA G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club, announced today the addition of forward Roscoe Smith to its active roster. Erie has waived center Chris Braswell.

Smith (6’8, 205), spent last season with the Delaware 87ers and South Bay Lakers. Smith appeared in 18 games for the Lakers, averaging 10.2 points and 3.8 rebounds in 19.2 minutes of play. He was traded to Delaware on January 15, 2017. Smith appeared in 24 games (13 starts) with the 87ers, registering 10.4 points on .545 shooting from the field and 5.9 rebounds in 22.7 minutes of action.

Braswell (6’9, 227) appeared and started in one game for Erie this season, finishing with two points and three rebounds in 14 minutes. The BayHawks selected Braswell in the third round with the 70th overall pick in the 2017 NBA G League Draft.

The excitement begins at Erie Insurance Arena when the BayHawks open up their 10th season this Friday, November 10th against the Maine Red Claws.
