ERIE, PA – The Erie BayHawks, NBA G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club, announced today the addition of Brandon Bowdry to its training camp roster. Erie also waived Ted Kapita.
Bowdry (6’6, 220) returns to Erie with six years of professional basketball experience. He most recently appeared in three games (all starts) with Leones de Quilpue of the Liga Americas. Over those three games, Bowdry averaged 9.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 22.6 minutes. Bowdry was selected by the BayHawks with the fifth pick in the third round of the 2012 NBA Development League. In two seasons with Erie (2012-14), Bowdry appeared in 13 games, averaging 2.4 points and 1.5 rebounds in 7.1 minutes of play.

The BayHawks kicked off training camp on Tuesday, October 24th. During training camp, media members will have access to the final 30 minutes of each session, followed by media availability. General Manager Malik Rose, Head Coach Josh Longstaff and any players will be made available, upon request. All media requests should be made through Billy Hartman. Both morning and evening practice sessions are closed to the public.
