BayHawks acquire returning player rights to Jeremy Wise


ERIE, PA – The Erie BayHawks, NBA G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club, announced today the acquisition of the returning player rights to Jeremy Wise, in exchange for Delaware’s original fourth round pick in the 2018 NBA G League Draft.

Wise (6-2, 185), most recently spent the 2016-17 season playing overseas for KB Trepca Mitrovice in the Kosovo FBK and Balkan BIBL. In 31 total games with KB Trepca Mitrovice (29 starts), Wise averaged 13.4 points on .562 shooting from the floor, including a .417 clip from three-point territory, 3.8 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.2 steals in 29.9 minutes of action. The Southern Mississippi graduate played four seasons in the NBA G League, all with the Bakersfield Jam (2009-12, 2013-14). He appeared in 153 games (113) starts, putting up 14.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 29.6 minutes of play.

The BayHawks are back in action tonight against the Raptors 905 in Mississauga, Ontario. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m. Erie will then travel to take on Windy City on Friday, before squaring off against the Canton Charge at Erie Insurance Arena on Saturday.
